Rain on motorbike helmet

By Josh

Why can't someone invent some sort of windscreen wiper for motorbike helmets? There's a product you can buy that supposedly reppels rain when you put in on your visor but I don't find it works very well.

What's this?

I know what you mean, some of the sprays like muc off optix help the water bead off. I hear that autoglym nanopolish is very good, its also for car rear windowscreens that don’t have a wiper.

Stick strips of chamios leather onto the back of index fingers of motorcycle gloves, great to use as a wiper blade when raining. Now how do we overcome the problem of rain on motorcycle windscreen.

    Hey dude,

I’ve had the same problem. I got some gloves where the left thumb has a wiper stitched into it. It’s very useful and I think better than all the sprays out there. Its worth a try I would recommend it to anyone.

Many years ago, there was a visor called “Turbovisor”, what it was, was a spinning round visor with small fins that expelled water by centrifugal force, so the faster you went the faster the spin. As I haven’t seen this for years I can only assume that it wasn’t successful, perhaps it spun so fast the rider flew off?
